The Recesky camera is a cheap ($15!) plastic toy that you buy and put together yourself. A little DIY thing.
And the purpose of it is to take pictures that are faulty. Yes, that's right, it is intended to be a source of fun through all its deficiencies.
You'll be aware that a trend in photography today - driven by the accessibility and universality of cameras, the ease of taking photographs, and the sheer fun of weird effects - is to have photos whose colours are distorted, which have light flares and any number of other weirdness-es.
Here's some recent ones I took down at the edge of one of our lakes. You can see what I mean about imperfections. But, hopefully you can see that they can be a bit of fun..
